Dr. Audrey Arona has extensive experience in high-risk obstetrics and gynecology for women of all ages. Recognized as a top 10 OBGYN physician in Gwinnett County for more than two decades, Dr. Audrey Arona presently guides GNR Public Health in Gainesville, Georgia, where she is responsible for a three-county public health district. She manages various state and federal programs that help ensure community health and well-being. One of her accomplishments was coordinating a seamless response to the COVID-19 pandemic that earned recognitions such as the 2020 Physician Champion Award.

From 1999 to 2019, Dr. Arona guided Preferred Women’s Healthcare, LLC, in Lawrenceville as owner and OBGYN physician partner. Engaging with women of all ages, she provided care for breast cancer and benign breast disease, as well as cervical cancer, menopause, and infertility. She successfully delivered thousands of infants, and also served on a number of hospital committees, ensuring that best practices were in place.

Dr. Arona earned her BA cum laude at the University of California, San Diego, where she majored in cell biology and biochemistry. While attending the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, she earned the Cincinnati Obstetrical and Gynecological Society Award for excellence in her field. She then completed a predoctoral fellowship at the University of California, Irvine. Possessing a background in equestrian activities, Dr. Audrey Arona earned distinction as a champion barrel-racer while in high school.
